FD Recruit have another Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Leeds based client – handled by our Yorkshire Team.

FD Recruit are exclusively working with a rapidly expanding multi-site Care Home organisation to secure a Director of Finance. Leading the finance function of this UK wide business, you will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement a strategy to drive growth and profitability.

Based in Leeds, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the finance, treasury and banking functions operate at optimum level. In addition, you will be a member of the Senior Management team, working closely with the Managing Director & CEO on the potential development of new sites in line with the company’s expansion plans and the increased profitability of current sites.

As the business grows, you will ensure smooth change management processes are conducted such as the implementation of new finance systems & controls, restructuring and development of the finance team etc.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a growing Multi-site organisation.

Duties of the Finance Director:

• Accountable for all finance tasks including audit, risk and compliance
• Evaluate Finance systems and make improvements where needed
• Take an active role in shaping finance strategy
• Work closely with Senior Management and the CEO
• Manage, lead and develop the accountancy team
• Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders including bankers and auditors
• Remain up to date with compliance and regulations
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and planning
• Interpret financial data and share analysis with the company
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
• Prepare statutory and management accounts
• Undertake individual finance projects as required

• Minimum of 5 years’ similar experience
• Hold accountancy qualification
