FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Exeter based client – handled by our South East Team.

Our client is an established business within the retail sector, based in Exeter. Due to an extremely successful year and a number of significant internal changes, they are now looking to recruit a Finance Director on a part time basis.
Working 3-days a week, the primary focus will be on furthering the company’s growth ambitions through effective financial planning. In line with this, the successful candidate will be tasked with providing exceptional quality financial advice to the board, and developing the finance function to ensure the company is fit to compete on a national level.
Duties:
• Assessing and implementing cost effective changes to financial systems
• Advising the MD on key business decisions
• Providing insightful reporting on risk management and business opportunity
• Preparing the annual accounts for audit
• Managing a team of 3
• Responsibility for budgets and forecasting
• Building relationships with key stakeholders
Candidates must be fully qualified accountants, with at least 7-years’ experience in a similar, leadership role to be considered for this role.
Effective people management skills, an ability to forge exceptional business relationships, and a strong commercial outlook are all required for this role.
