FD Recruit have another Part Time Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Wrexham based client – handled by our North West Team.

A growing manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a talented Part Time Finance Director.

This fantastic role will be based in Wrexham, but due to its hands-on nature, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to other offices throughout the UK.

The role

This great and varied opportunity includes driving strategy, ensuring cost efficiencies are met and maximised, and developing a team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role’s primary focus will be on producing timely and accurate reports, streamlining current systems and processes, and developing and supporting the Finance Team. The team itself require further training, and there will be a need to recruit for new, talented staff members to support the growing requirements of the business.

Together with this, the successful candidate will be tasked with improving processes in order to maximise profits, so a keen grasp of how to run effective operational projects is essential.

There is also an emphasis on regularly liaising with the senior leadership team, and building exceptional relationships with key stakeholders.

The person

This role would suit an energetic Finance Director with a strong track record in developing a streamlined, and cost effective department.

Ideally they’ll have experience within a related sector, but most importantly, candidates will have a passion for developing a first-rate finance function, with demonstrable experience in delivering effective, business changing results.

Candidates must have at least 4-years post qualification experience.
