FD Recruit have another interim Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Newport based client – handled by our South West & Wales Team.

A regionally recognised service business based in Newport, South Wales are currently seeking a highly skilled finance director for a period of 9 months.

The role

This opportunity will see the successful candidate working across a range of projects, engaging with people across the business and with key external stakeholders.

The business has seen an impressive growth in turnover to £26m in the past 12 months, with further ambitious growth plans in place for the next 12 months. As such, financial processes and systems need to be assessed and cost effective improvements implemented.

Further developing the success of the finance team itself, this role will also be involved in further increasing the skills of the 5 people within the team, maintaining a close relationships with both external and internal key team members and ensuring that efficiencies are maintained and improved.

The person

This role requires a dedicated and innovative finance director with a passion for people management and a strong track record in setting up robust finance processes and systems to support ambitious growth plans.

Candidates must be fully qualified, with at least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
