FD Recruit have another interim Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Rotherham based client – handled by our Yorkshire Team.

Our client is a large construction JV who is looking for a commercial finance manager to manage the project finances and work with the senior management team on an initial 2 year contract. This is a stand alone position and will report to group finance as well as the site general manager. Specific duties entail:

• Develop and deliver effective processes of accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, governance, compliance and audit for the project and the project company;
• Organise and manage the day to day financial activities of the project and the company, including bookkeeping, accounting, VAT, Tax, Payroll, trade receivables and trade payables, etc;
• Support the relationship with the investors and lenders through the development of business plans and budgets, provision of project financial reports, forecasts and cash;
• Manage the day to day financial relationship with contract counterparties and project partners including by ensuring an effective billing and payments system;
• Manage external financial service providers and outsourced bookkeeping to deliver internal management reporting and statutory financial reports;
• Support the project financing and/or sale of a part of the project to partners, if an opportunity which is advantageous to the investors arises;
• Responsible for the upkeep of discounted cashflow models for the project.

Our client is looking for qualified accountant with a minimum five years of experience as a financial lead within a company, good commercial flair and experience project finance would be an advantage.
