FD Recruit have another Interim Finance Director Job Vacancy for a Coventry based client – Handled by our West Midlands Team.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an Interim Finance Director within a rapidly expanding engineering firm.

This exciting new role will be based at the Coventry head office running for an initial 6 month period. Reporting to the company’s Managing Director, this fast-paced position covers both the day-to-day running of the department as it expands, as well as having a real input into business strategy and growth.

Duties will include:

• Developing an expanding finance team
• Assessing current financial procedures and processes and suggesting cost effective improvements
• Working alongside the MD and the leadership team on business strategy
• Building effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Providing regular reports to the management team and designing a robust reporting system

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on FD with a strong track-record of initiating change. First-rate people management and problem solving skills, the ability to engage and inspire at all levels, and experience with implementing financial systems is essential.
Candidates must be fully qualified accountants, with a good working knowledge of the engineering sector.
