FD Recruit have a Finance Director vacancy for a London based client – handled by our South East Team.

The Company
An exciting and private equity-backed Enterprise SaaS business is hiring for a commercially minded Finance Director, based in Central London near Waterloo.
The business is in final due diligence to raise Series B growth capital and has ambitions to grow over 500% within the next three years. We are seeking an ambitious Finance Director who can Partner with the rest of the Executive team to help them achieve this.

The Role
Reporting into the board, you will be the first senior hire in finance, tasked with building a best-in-class function, capable of supporting this rapidly scaling SaaS business. The ideal candidate will be agile, resourceful, pro-active, and comfortable in an environment of rapid change. They must be able to take a commercial view whilst being all over the detail.
The role requires someone who understands the demands and challenges that come with working in a fast growing business with a Private Equity backer and meeting all the stakeholders expectations.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Strong financial control and financial reporting experience – including building stronger MI reporting processes and value metrics
• Creation of KPI board packs, delivering strong financial analysis to challenge performance, decisions and ultimately drive growth
• Experience with a scale-up SaaS business
• Excellent communication skills – Outgoing, social, confident individual – A business partner who is capable of advising, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of cross-border transactions and tax issues, and US revenue recognition would be helpful but not a pre-requisite
• Commercially minded – able to continually identify new opportunities, areas for improvement and evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organisation as needed
